As busy women, we often feel like there’s never enough time. Between work, family, household tasks, and personal goals, the list of responsibilities can feel overwhelming. Procrastination can creep in—not because we are lazy, but because we feel exhausted, distracted, or unsure of where to start. Yet, God calls us to live wisely, making the most of our time. Instead of letting stress or perfectionism hold us back, we can surrender our schedule to the Lord and trust Him to guide us through each day with purpose.
One of the biggest reasons for procrastination is fear—fear of failure, not doing something perfectly, or not having enough energy to complete the task. But when we commit our plans to God, He provides wisdom and strength. Instead of delaying important tasks, we can ask Him for clarity and take one small step forward in faith. Every little effort counts, and God blesses our obedience, even in the small things.
Our time is a gift from God, and He wants us to use it wisely. When we recognize that each moment matters, we become more intentional about how we spend our days. This doesn’t mean packing our schedules with endless to-do lists, but rather choosing what is truly important. Start your day with prayer, asking God to help you focus on what matters most, and let go of distractions that waste time.
When we view our work—whether at home, in our jobs, or in ministry—as something we do for God, our motivation changes. Instead of putting off tasks because they feel mundane or overwhelming, we can see them as opportunities to serve Him. Whether it’s washing dishes, answering emails, or teaching our children, we can work with joy and excellence, knowing that God sees and values our efforts. Instead of procrastinating, let’s take one step forward today, trusting that God will give us the strength to complete what He has called us to do.
